This Creamy Tomato & Tortellini Soup is the ultimate year round comfort food and is meal ready in just 30 minutes!

Close-up of creamy tomato and tortellini soup with basil.

Do you guys remember those old Campbell's Soup commercials? The ones where no matter what was going on, there was NOTHING a big, comforting bowl of soup couldn't fix. One of my favorites featured a cold little snowman making his way indoors during a blistery winter storm. Once inside, he sits down to warm up with a bowl of Campbell's soup. With each bite, he sheds his snowman exterior to reveal a happy little boy. I feel like we can all relate to that little snowman at times! Sometimes, life can get a little cold, and crazy, and all we need is a little bowl of comfort to help us feel like ourselves again.

Today's Creamy Tomato & Tortellini Soup is just the soup to do the trick. A rich, luscious, flavorful broth paired with tender tortellini (because, pasta) make this an updated classic and easy anytime meal.

I made this as an easy quick meal for when I am busy during the week and it's so much better than normal tomato soup! The tortellini in the soup is great and makes it so much more filling. I loved that it was a relatively easy to make recipe especially as a college student.

this recipe looks super easy! I don't have a kitchen right now since I'm in the dorms but next year I will definitely be making this. I love tomato soup and tortellini, so I'm really excited to try this!

I wanted to find a simple recipe to try for dinner because I consider myself a much better baker than cook and I wanted something that would be difficult to mess up. I also have been looking for ways to choose healthier food choices while also not spending all my money on groceries, so this caught my eye. I am so so thankful I tried this soup because it was so fun to make, super simple, and incredibly delicious. It is definitely soup season right now and this hit the spot!
